Flatbed Scanners
- I have a Castle Technology SCSI card with just a scanner attached, how do I get rid of the SCSI::4 icon ?
Press F12 from the Desktop followed by:
*configure scsifslink 4 ff
Then reset the computer using <CTRL><BREAK>
- I have just tried my new scanner and although I can see it under *devices whenever I try to actually scan something I just get the error message "Scanner is not responding"
Load up ImageMaster and click on the 'Scan' button. When the Twain window containing the Type, Quality, Area and Res options has appeared, click your middle mouse button and go down to the Device menu and make sure that you have selected the correct device number of your scanner. If you select 'SCSI auto(?)' you should find the device number of your scanner appears in the brackets.
