Monitors
- I have an A3010 and a SVGA monitor but the screen looks a mess/rolling/not syncing.
Turn off the computer. Turn it back on while holding down '4' on the numeric key pad until you hear the beep. Your computer should now be re-configured for that monitor. You can double check this by going to the 'Screen' option in the configuration window from !Configure and ensuring that 'Super VGA' is selected.
- I have an old xxx monitor, can I use it on my A3010 computer ?
The chances are that if the monitor will/had worked on a PC computer or if the monitor has a SCART connector on the back, the answer will be yes. However, monitors with SCART connectors generally will not be able to display the higher resolutions (mode 27, 28, 31) though they will always give a much better quality display than a normal television set.
