Neuron100
The Neuron100 embedded computer is based around ARM's powerful 64MHz 7500FE processor. It provides an ARM 7 central
core and supports a wide range of industry standard storage and input/output computer peripherals. The embedded computer
comes equipped with the ultra-reliable RISC OS operating system. It is also optionally able to run UNIX (NetBSD or Linux)
operating systems. Ease of programming and a substantial library of application software and hardware make the Neuron100
the embedded solution for a wide range of high performance applications.
Applications for Neuron100
The Neuron100 is a single board that has been designed specifically for embedded applications. The design is ideal for low
and medium volume applications where the unique features of the Neuron100 provides a complete solution that will function
with proven reliability. A Neuron100 embedded computer enables computer technology to be applied to a wide
range of tasks. Computer technology is ideal where video output is required or where
complex repetitive calculations are required. The Neuron100 can fulfil many
tasks through the on board Ethernet interface, without any supporting
hardware. Alternatively a Cortex interface board can be utilised. A
Cortex can be individually designed to give the exact functionality
or connector IO layout to suit each individual application.
