CASTLE TO MANUFACTURE RiscPC
ACORN COMPUTERS FROM JUST £499

Following close on the heels of the successful relaunch of the A7000+, Castle are pleased to announce that they have negotiated a licence to manufacture the RiscPC.

The acclaimed StrongARM computer (now known as the RiscPC233) will be available again in limited quantities from June 1999 with a return to freely available stock in the Autumn of 1999. To ensure the earliest delivery, Castle urges potential customers to place orders now as demand will outstrip supply. Orders will be dispatched on a first ordered basis.

The RiscPC233 features the top of the range ARM/INTEL processor, the 233MHz StrongARM. The computers will be supplied with a choice of specification including; RISC OS 4, large & fast hard drives, VRAM, high capacity fast SIMM memory, with CD or DVD CD ROM options together with a choice of high resolution digital monitors, 56K and ISDN modems etc etc.

The StrongARM 233MHz processor can run at 5 times the speed of the 7500FE processor, making it a very fast and desireable computer. Among a long list of features the following make a RiscPC 233 the best buy in the market: unbeatable performance, unique expandable modular case, 2nd processor slot (for a PC card), the support of up to 8 Acorn expansion cards (2 with superfast 32bit DMA capability), 16 million colour graphics, 1600 x 1200 display etc.

RiscPC 233 prices start from a low £749+vat with the top end fully featured Web Wizard RiscPC 233 at just £1149. The RiscPC 233 compliments the existing Acorn A7000+ which remains Castle's top selling Acorn computer.
